A little bit of history

RF & Noise Components was established in January 2003 and originally based in Great Wakering, England. It was started up by former DML Microwave employees to support it's products and customer base after it closure.

Unfortunately DML Microwave suffered greatly with the downturn of the telecoms market between 2001 and 2003. They had put all their eggs in the telecoms market, expanding at a rapid rate as many technology companies did at the time but at the cost of other market sectors, including broadcast and defence.

During the late part of 2001 and over 2002 there were several bouts of redundancies in an effort to reduce the overheads to cope with the huge drop in orders. This turned out to be to little to late and at the beginning of 2003 it was announced that the company would be closing. The DML management managed to sell some of the key product lines to its competitors but that left many of the small to medium sized customers with no support for the bespoke products that DML had provided. This was a great opportunity for a smaller business model and RF & Noise components was born.

What we do

We design and manufacture passive components for UHF, RF and Microwave applications. Our principle products are isolators and circulators but we also supply dividers, combiners and power monitors. Our team has many years of design and manufacturing experience gained from DML Microwave (formerly Densitron Microwave) and can cross reference many of their ferrite circulator and isolator products enabling us to offer solutions to legacy products as well as provide new designs.

Our engineers are experienced at designing for small, medium and large volume applications and can offer the most cost effective solution for a particular project. Many of our core designs have been and are currently used within the main Telecom OEM’s systems, defence and commercial ground radar systems and television broadcast applications.

Capabilities

DML Microwave was a major supplier to the mobile telecoms industry including Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola and Lucent. With the experience of working directly with these OEM's at the forefront of communications technology our design and manufacturing team have many years of experience in helping to provide solutions for our customers. We can supply isolators and circulators in coaxial, drop in, surface mount (SMD) packages from 300MHz to 20GHz and waveguide packages from 7GHz to 20GHz. We have prototyping equipment that allows rapid development of new products and designs to help meet the ever changing and demanding needs of the wireless communication markets.

Customer Service

We are fully committed to providing our customers with an efficient and reliable service. We can offer same day dispatch for standard stocked product for orders received before noon and for built to order products typically 2-5 days from receipt of order if the component stock is available.

We have a refund policy for samples supplied and returned to help keep your development costs to a minimum and rarely charge NRE for new designs.

Quality System

We operate an ISO9001:2008 approved quality system and a certificate of approval is available on request.
